Low as the days get darker

When the days get cold and dark, and your mood sinks with them

Maybe you walked out of work one day and realized it was already fully dark. Maybe your alarm went off again and again while the sky outside stayed gray, and the air beyond the blanket was too cold to move. Or maybe nothing feels very interesting lately, you would rather spend the whole weekend lying at home, and even replying to messages feels like too much. Nothing big has happened, you just feel heavy and dull, as if you dimmed along with the weather. You might even blame yourself: nothing has changed, so why do I have so little energy?

When the season changes, it is common for your mood to change too

As the days get shorter and colder, many people find they tire more easily, want to sleep more and lose interest in things. That doesn’t mean you are being dramatic or lazy. Body and mood naturally adjust with the seasons, so give it some time and give yourself a little more patience. It is fine to do a bit less. Taking care of each day is already enough.

In the Seaside Loft, switch on the lamp first

Outside the Seaside Loft window is the winter sea, and the wind is a little strong, but the lamp inside stays warm and lit. Write on a bedside note the one thing that has felt heaviest lately, then one small thing that could warm you up, like ten minutes of daylight outside or a bowl of hot soup, and fold it away so it stays only on your device. If this low mood lasts for weeks, affects your sleep, eating or daily life, or you start to feel that nothing means anything, it may help to talk with someone you trust or a professional.

No account, no name, and you can leave whenever you like.
