A little bored

When you feel bored and nothing seems interesting, it’s okay to do nothing for a while

A weekend afternoon, or an evening after work, and suddenly there is empty time. You open one app after another and scroll for ages, seeing a lot without really taking any of it in. You want to do something but can’t find the energy, and doing nothing leaves you restless, as if the day is just slipping away.

Boredom is your heart waiting for something you really want

Being bored doesn’t necessarily mean you are lazy, or that your life is a failure. It often shows up in one of two ways: you are so tired that even fun things feel like too much, or your days repeat so much that something inside is quietly asking for a little that is new and truly yours. Noticing that is already a good thing.

At the station, let the time stay quietly empty

At the Quiet Station trains come and go, and no one hurries you aboard. Put your phone a little further away and listen to the wind on the platform, or write on a bedside note one thing you loved doing as a kid and haven’t done in years, then one small thing you could try today in ten minutes, and fold it away so it stays only on your device. If this lack of interest lasts a long time, and even things you used to enjoy feel flat, it may help to talk with someone you trust or a professional.

No account, no name, and you can leave whenever you like.
