Being rejected doesn’t mean you aren’t good enough
Rejection hurts this much because you truly wanted something and tried hard for it. When someone says no, it is often about timing, circumstances or what they need, not a score for who you are as a person. One rejection means one thing didn’t work out. It doesn’t mean you don’t deserve to be liked or chosen.
In the Forest Cabin, take care of the part of you that got hurt
Outside the Forest Cabin the leaves rustle and the light in the woods is soft, and no one is judging you. Let yourself be sad for a while, without rushing to find the lesson. Or write on a bedside note the thought that hurts most right now, then what you would say to a good friend who had just been rejected, and fold it away so it stays only on your device. That door may have closed, but the courage it took to knock is still yours. If this sense of failure stays heavy, keeps you from trying again, or leaves you low for a long time, it may help to talk with someone you trust or a professional.
No account, no name, and you can leave whenever you like.
