Not good enough

When you feel you’re not good enough, you don’t have to grade yourself tonight

Scrolling through other people’s news, it seems everyone is doing better: working harder, saying the right things, knowing sooner what they want. Looking back at yourself, everything you have done seems to count for little, and even when someone praises you, a voice inside says “it wasn’t really that good”.

“Not good enough” usually comes from comparing

Measure all of yourself against the best side of someone else, and you will always seem to fall a little short. Thinking this way often means you hold yourself to high standards and care about doing well. That care is not wrong; you just don’t have to keep grading yourself tonight.

Let a little morning light in

The Morning Room won’t judge you or compare you with anyone. Sit for a while as the window slowly brightens, or write those “I’m not good enough” thoughts on a bedside note, then try adding one small thing you actually managed today, and fold it away so it stays only on your device. If this feeling has weighed on you for a long time and is affecting daily life, it may help to talk with someone you trust or a professional.

No account, no name, and you can leave whenever you like.
